About Crooks Stanford & Shoop
Our firm is focused on providing efficient legal services to our clients. We understand our clients are our business, and it is an honor each time we are hired by a new client, as well as each time we are retained on a recurring basis by our current clients.
Michael Crooks and Ainslie Stanford founded the firm after several years of working in separate firms and collaboratively representing corporate and individual clients. Michael and Ainslie joined their practices in 2013 to best serve their clients. In 2017, Kimber Shoop joined the firm as a partner. For the previous 11 years, Kimber served as Senior Counsel and Managing Director of Legal for Oklahoma Gas & Electric Company ("OG&E"). At OG&E, Kimber oversaw all legal activities of the publicly traded company and managed a team of internal and external counsel.
Crooks, Stanford & Shoop is focused on providing efficient legal services to our clients. Our practice each time we begin a new matter is to sit down with our clients and determine their desired result, and then formulate and implement a plan to pursue that result in the most efficient and practical manner. We welcome and encourage our clients to be our partner, with the understanding that our clients expect and deserve our active advice and guidance.
Our firm and our attorneys have been recognized for our excellence and leadership in the legal industry by organizations such as Martindale-Hubbell, Super Lawyers, Benchmark Litigation and others. Our clients range from multinational corporations to small family businesses, as well as attorneys, medical professionals, counselors and other professionals. We have experience in a variety of complex litigated matters, construction law, securities arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, real estate, employment law, energy law and administrative matters. We are frequently retained to work cooperatively with out-of-state law firms, as well as with corporate counsel for out-of-state companies who seek assistance in Oklahoma.
