A. Ainslie Stanford II
Direct line: (405) 445-5226
Ainslie's practice focuses on representing and serving his clients in litigated matters. He has broad litigation experience and has tried numerous cases to verdict in both jury and non-jury cases, as well as tried numerous arbitration cases to a final panel award. He also frequently represents clients in administrative and regulatory matters. Ainslie's background has provided him with a unique blend of both civil and government litigation experience.
The first six years of his career were spent in the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office, where he successfully tried more than 30 trials to a jury verdict. In addition to his state and federal court litigation experience, he has successfully represented clients in numerous arbitration hearings across the country, ranging from construction industry providers, to multinational financial services corporations, to small broker-dealers, to medical services providers, to private individuals. While most litigated matters resolve before trial or hearing, it is Ainslie's extensive trial experience that enables him to provide his clients with a realistic perspective on the particular issues in their cases that many other lawyers simply do not have.
Ainslie received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College Of Law and his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. While in law school, Ainslie attended the University of Oxford Summer law program in Oxford, England at The Queen's College, and then worked his way through law school as a legal intern in the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office White Collar Crime Division for the legendary Robert H. Macy. After law school, he was hired by Mr. Macy as an Assistant District Attorney. During his tenure as an Assistant District Attorney, Ainslie was selected to be a part of the Special Victim's Unit, handling the highest profile and often most difficult cases, and successfully tried numerous SVU cases to jury verdict.
In 2004, Ainslie left the D.A.'s office to join a prestigious securities litigation firm, where he represented some of the biggest financial institutions in the world in a nationwide securities arbitration and employment litigation practice. In 2009, he became a partner with the firm of Corbyn Hampton, where he continued to represent his clients as well as firm clients in a broad range of litigated matters. In early 2013, after years of working collaboratively with Michael Crooks representing various corporate and individual clients, Ainslie and Michael decided they could best serve their clients by joining their practices.
Ainslie is admitted to practice in all Oklahoma courts, including the United States Federal District Courts for the Western, Eastern and Northern Districts of Oklahoma. Martindale-Hubbell, the most respected legal database in the legal industry, has on an annual basis since 2011 recognized Ainslie as an "AV Preeminent" rated attorney, which is the highest possible rating available to a lawyer, and is an achievement indicating that judges he appears in front of as well as fellow lawyers rank him at the highest possible level of professional excellence. He was repeatedly honored by his fellow lawyers in Super Lawyers Magazine as a "Rising Star," every year from 2007 to 2013. Starting in 2014, and in each year since, Ainslie's peers have selected him as a "Super Lawyer" in the areas of construction litigation, business litigation and general litigation.
